The Senior Picture Experience - Mercer PA - Lukas

When Lukas reached out for his senior photos, we knew this session was going to be something special. From the start, it was clear that Lukas had a strong sense of who he is, and we wanted that to shine through in every shot.

We started in Lukas’ backyard, where he proudly posed with his grandpa’s car and his mom’s motorcycle. These weren’t just props; they were part of his story, grounding his senior photos in memories and family ties. We wanted to capture the essence of who Lukas is—a young man already taking on the world, but deeply connected to his roots.

They didn't know I was going to try this but we had about 15 minutes to spare so I pulled out my drone to get a more aerial view of their property and the car and bike.

Next, we headed to a beautiful lake and Leesburg Falls where Lukas donned his cap and gown. The location was perfect for Lukas and his mom as they wanted something in a natural setting yet unique.

Finally, we moved to the studio for a series of more polished shots. Here, Lukas chose his backdrop colors and we played around with crazy poses. Seeing him come alive in front of the camera, being completely himself, made this session truly unforgettable.

What made this session even more special was the collaborative effort between Lukas, his mom, and me. Together, we blended Lukas’ vision with his mom’s ideas, fine-tuning each shot with beautiful lighting and meticulous edits. The end result was a collection of images that were not only stunning but also deeply personal.

Lukas and his family were thrilled with the final images. They chose to invest in all the digitals, a striking 5x10 acrylic block, three 20x20 series collections, two combo cover albums featuring photos from throughout his childhood along with a heartfelt letter his mom had written, a grad signing board, mini snapshots, and matted prints. These pieces will not only be the highlight of his graduation party but will also serve as timeless keepsakes for their home.
